Rotary supports Jump Start

Monday, the Rotary Club of Merritt presented the local Jump Start program partnered with Kevin Thiessen owner of Canadian Tire, a cheque for $1000. Thiessen will match the $1000 donation and Canadian Tire Corp. will doublematch those funds — making the total $6000. This money will be distributed locally by Merritt Youth & Family Resources Society, with the majority of the funds going to registration fees for children who could not otherwise afford to participate in sporting activities.

It seems that we are marrying less & succeeding less. Divorce has become too easy. Those who have entered into a marriage covenant have said their vows before God. God is the witness of your promise; your vow; your sincerity & faithfulness. God hates all sin. He hates a lack of love between couples. He hates divorce, & He is ready to judge those who refuse to listen to Him. Guard your spirit, for that is where all sin begins. If we allow sin in our heart, whom will we not sin against? Those who think God is a friend to sin insult Him & deceive themselves. They deny Him to be the judge of this world.
