Regional Treasurer Reports to:
Regional Coordinator
Job Summary: The Regional Treasurer's main duty is to manage the finances of the Region. This individual reports to the Regional Coordinator. Essential Functions: 1.
Supervises and monitors the Regional Funds.
2.
Generates timely financial statements.
3.
Creates and applies fiscal controls and procedures within the Region
4.
Develops and monitors budgets.
5.
Conducts periodic audits of per diems to actual expenses, and budget comparisons to actual.
6.
Maintains communication with the Regional Coordinator, providing relevant fiscal information.
7.
Responsible for all financial procedures and records. This responsibility includes: a. Maintenance of checking accounts and invoices. b. Responsible for subsidiary ledgers: cash disbursements, cash receipts, accounts payable, month-end payroll summary, accounts receivable summary, and journal entries for adjustments to the general ledger. c. Responsible for current and capital fund general ledgers, trial balances, financial report, and balance sheets. d. Preparing quarterly reports that include accounts payable reconciliation, accounts receivable reconciliation, cash flow report, and balance sheet audits.
8. Responsible for the selection and oversight of the following Regional Posts: a.
Fundraiser
b.
Quartermaster
Qualifications: •
Good Organizational and procedural skills.

Attention to detail.
•
Good math skills.
•
The willingness to follow directions and policy as stated by the Regional Coordinator.
