Charities Post Reports to: Regional Recruitment Officer Job Summary The Regional Public Relations Officer will also be responsible for the Regional Charities program by encouraging and assisting charitable groups to identify their needs, to participate in formulating a plan to assist and to develop appropriate services and facilities to meet those needs. Recruitment may perform the following tasks: • • • • •
Assist Charitable groups in planning, developing, maintaining and evaluating Regional resources, programs and support networks Communicate frequently with community groups, welfare agencies, government bodies, non-government organizations and private businesses about the availability of Regional Charitable services Help raise community and public awareness on Charitable organizations by promoting, organizing and/or helping to coordinate meetings and seminars Communicate with STARFLEET International and coordinate Regional Charitable functions with that of applicable STARFLEET charitable programs. Assist other regional chapters in establishing or participating in charitable functions.
