satisfied.” - Alfred Nobel

Your Voice is You - Make the most of it - Bill Lampton, PH D •

Be kind to your vocal chords by avoiding cold water, which constricts your speaking mechanism

Enunciate your words

Consider varying your volume to create interest

Pause occasionally

In case of a confrontation at the front desk - please be aware of the following:

• Try to use a calm voice so that a bad situation does not escalate. • Remember this is a private business and we have the right to ask someone to leave. • The police would rather have too many 911 calls in case of a threatening situation than to have none. Safety is always best practiced than wished for - be prepared:

• For non-emergency situations please call - 801.799.3000 for police assistance. • Keep purses in a drawer and out of sight - not under the desk where it can be accessible to anyone. • When leaving the building late at night - be sure to have moved your car to a well lit area close to the elevator and be “alert”.

It’s Alive!!!!!

Friday afternoons the refrigerator in the break room will be cleaned - No if’s and’s or butt’s about it!!! If you have any kind of food or containers (tupperware, to go cartons, plastic bags, etc.) they will be thrown away. As lovely as this site may be to some, we prefer not to have it in the break room refrigerator again.
