1. Polarization

Steps: - Observe it through the top part of the filter/glass. - Rotate the glass plates that are in the tool. - Observe the changes of the color that occurs.

Explanation: The color effect that strikes can occurs when something is seen in the polished light. Symptoms that cause it to happen is polarization. The light doesn’t vibrate to the direction of the motion but to the right angle towards the direction. The light moves to all direction that’s possible. When a beam of white light crosses over to the thin plates that are cut from tourmaline mineral crystals then directed to a screen, the light will be seen without any changes even though a change that’s real in the properties of light already occurred. Tourmaline plate only allows vibration in a field to penetrate it. If one more tourmaline plate is placed behind the first one and is installed in such a way until the light vibrates in one field can cross over both of the plates and then trapped by the screen. If from both of them is placed in a piece of mic, the color spectrums occur in the screen. This is caused by the differences of the

thickness of the crystal and the length of the light wave that penetrate it. The light wave that has only one direction of the vibration is called polarized.

2. Human Yoyo

Steps: - Pull the lever of the yoyo downwards, and let it go. - Repeat it many times.

Explanation: This booth benefits the principals of physics that is named the moment of Inertia. The moment of Inertia is related with the capability of an object that holds the condition of the motion/movement in this case the object rotates. This is influenced by 2 factors: The mass of an object and the distance mass from the spindle. The greater the mass and the farther it is from the spindle, the greater the moment of Inertia. Therefore with the size of the mass of the yoyo that is big enough then the rotation of the yoyo can lift our body.
