Looking forward Evangelism conference

This weekend I’m going to Dyke House for a UCCF conference. The aim is to learn how we can share the gospel is a way that is both biblically sound and culturally relevant. Everyone who goes will preach a 10 minute evangelistic sermon and be given feedback on it. I am currently preparing my talk on John 9.

Global café

Every Tuesday evening Bangor CU run a cafe for international students. It involves a meal, games and a chance to make friends. Please pray for opportunities to share God’s love with them. I am giving a short testimony after the meal tonight (24th)! Job exhibition, Llandrillo College

Shining Like Stars

Each Friday I run a discussion group on the book Shining Like Stars. It’s a book full of inspiring stories of God’s work through students world-wide. I’m excited about the potential of what God can teach us through it, but so far there hasn’t been much interest. Last week two students came, one with the book, one without, neither having read the chapter!

One-2-ones

I am currently meeting up to study Colossians and pray with a guy from Hong Kong. It’s been great so far. I’m planning to start studying the Bible with another student soon.

College work

Last week we ran day missions in Llandrillo, Rhyl and Yale. This included an art exhibition on the life of Job raising questions of suffering, dance and rap workshops. Trying to share the gospel in colleges is hard work. Pray for our younger students.

Glyndwr

The CU continue to meet on Monday nights, but it is still a struggle. Please pray they would have enthusiasm and personpower to run some outreach events running up to Christmas.

This time of year provides unique opportunities to share the gospel of Immanuel – God with us! As you can see from the box on the left, many evangelistic endevours are planned – pray that sinners would turn and believe this Christmas

Praise & prayer I have lots to thank God for; time with family and friends, making new friends here in Bangor, everything I am learning, seeing Christian students sharing the gospel, the list goes on! Please pray for CUs across North Wales; that Christian students would live and speak for Jesus and unbelievers would be saved. For specific prayer points see above. I would appreciate prayer for the following… • My time with individuals – that God would use me in their life. • My relationship with Una. • Guidance and direction for next year and beyond! • Disciplined and fruitful quiet times. • Making more non-christian friends and having a powerful witness. • Putting the preaching & training into practice. Thank you for your continued love and support
