Other Matters

The meeting started with a prayer led by Ms. Irish Joy Cruzada. It was then followed by the presentation of the agenda.

Fun House The presiding officer asked the body whether they would pursue to have a Fun House on August 08. The following were the suggested activities for the Fun House (if ever majority of the body would pursue to have one): -

Love Chain

-

Sell iced tea and barbecue

-

Games

-

Magic Tricks

The board members, through votation (10 for “no” and 0 for “yes”), decided not to have a Fun House on August 08 due to time constraints. Garbage Bins Ms. Cruzada informed the body that together with Mr. Hao, they meet some of the CESVSP board members. They have discussed the budget with regards to garbage bins. The VSP members told them that they no longer have sufficient budget for such. The latter was also having a problem with regards to the placement of the bins. The presiding officer suggested to the body that we could allot a budget for the bins but then, there must be a liquidation for all the expenses. She also suggested having 6 bins, 3 will be from NSRC and the other 3 will be form CES-VSP. Ms. Pae Bonguyan suggested having pink and green bins, so as to avoid confusion. The body agreed to the suggestions presented. It was decided by the board members that NSRC would cater 2 green bins (biodegradable) and 1 pink bin (non-biodegradable). Ms. Pelaez informed Ms. Cruzada to have a proper endorsement to the rest of the Finance Committee. Balik-Aral Project The presiding officer reminded the spearheads for the Balik-Aral Project to make again a project proposal including the budget proposal of such activity. It was decided that the following would be given for each grade level: Grade I-III:

paper, pencil, and crayons

Grade IV-VI:

paper, ball pen, and notebook

Other Matters Ms. Pelaez assigned Ms. Pae Bonguyan to make an announcement for the Fun Run ’08 participants indicating that they could already claim their certificates. Ms. Bonguyan was also tasked to make an announcement for those who would like to purchase the NSRC shirt. There having no further concerns, the meeting ended with a prayer led by Ms. Ronelyn Tajore.
