Presiding officer: Jay Nhel Bato-on Note Bookkeeper: Lea Pealaez Agenda: a. Discussion about the Environment Summit on July 27- 28, 2007 at UIC (Bajada), Maa & Holy Cross gym. 1. The meeting was officially opened by a prayer led by Ms. Anna Corpuz. 2. There was no reading of previous minutes because this is a meeting for the participants of the Environment Summit and not a board meeting. 3. Mr. Jay Nhel Bato-on, NSRC board member, open up the topic about Environment Summit on July 26- 27, at UIC (Bajada), Maa and Holy Cross gym. 4. Ms. Anna Corpuz lists on the board the things to be discussed like: things to bring, what to wear, the transportation, when and where to assemble, registration fee, snacks and lunch and other matters to remember. 5. It was approved by the group to assemble at Gate 2 7 am for the take off time will be 7:30. CES will be then the responsible for the school bus reservation. Snacks were catered for the whole events so no need to worry. The Registration fee will only be P 50.00 for the whole activity. 6. Mrs. Agnes Sagaral discussed to us on what to expect on the said summit. First day of the activity July 27, 2007 will be held on UIC (Bajada) 7:00 am5:00 pm: seminars and workshop will be the activity for the said day. On the second day, motorcade will open up the activity from Ateneo (Roxas) to Maa. After that a Para- liturgy before the tree planting will be partaken by the different schools then followed by the tree planting on the side of Davao River. And for the afternoon activity an environmental concert will be held on Holy Cross gym. 7. Since there will be an environmental concert on Saturday afternoon the group discussed about the payment for the concert. It was said that the ticket will be available for P 25.00 and the money will benefit for tree stewardship program.
8. The activity needs an excuse letter in order for the participants not to be absent on their classes, Ms. Mehetabel Mermal will supervised for the Nursing participants and Mr. Up Estrellada will supervised for the Non- Nursing participants. 9. The distribution of tickets and the collection of payments will be on the day of the activity. 10. There were no further concerns so we ended the meeting with a prayer led by Ms. Dawn Cachuela and the meeting was adjourned at 8:40 pm. Prepared by:
