Other Matters
The meeting was opened with a prayer led by Mr. Wilmar Hao. Presentation of the agenda followed thereafter. Fun Run ’08: The president, Ms. Cachuela, had informed the body that we could start working for the fun run which will be on July 27 after all of the necessary letters are signed.
Evaluation for Coastal Clean-Up: The activity despite the weather and the number of participants, had been successful. They had a surprise visit from Maam Yoli. Collection of Garbage: The body was reminded of their schedule with regards to the collection of plastic bottles and cups. The presider had informed the spearheads for this fund-raising activity that starting Monday, another container should be place beside the old one. Other Matters: The secretary was given the following tasks which are due on Monday: -

The presiding officer had informed the body that right after the fun run activity, there will be a solid waste management on July 28-29, in collaboration with CES – VSP. In line with this, the research committee was given the task of preparing some activities for the said event. The suggestions will be discussed on Monday. There will also be a leadership training seminar on the first week of August, and this time, together with the People for People board members. The program committee was assigned to prepare a program for such. And the suggested flow of activities will also be discussed on Monday. The body was also reminded to disseminate the information to their classmates and schoolmates with regards to the donation of the following goods for the victims of typhoon Frank:

A suggestion was raised by Ms. Cachuela with regards to the excess school supplies last year during the Balik-Aral project. She suggested the latter to be given to SOS kids during SOS Adopt a House project which will resume right after the fun run. The body was notified that we will be the one to buy our own shirt at PhP 150. The shirt will be use on NSRC general assembly. The target date of such is on July 13. There having no further concerns, the meeting was adjourned at 5:45 p.m.
