Activities Committee The Activities Committee would like to invite folks Young & Old to come & enjoy our meeting for fresh new ideas. We meet on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of every month at 10AM in the Patio Room. Put it on your calendar so you don’t forget. If you need more information you can contact anyone on the committee ask the Office or Gatehouse where we are located & stop in for a visit. Lynn Thomas, Chair Person; Doris Thomas, Chico Valencia, and Joe Miller & Pat miller. Anyone of us would enjoy hearing your ideas & comments.

Trail Rides; Reminder for all members & guests: Please be careful when out riding your ATV’s, when you come upon a horse ride you need to stop for them to pass by before you continue on your way. I’ve been informed that some people are not even slowing down. Please be aware of this & stop for the rides.

The kids fishing tournament was a big success, 70+ fish were caught by 46 children that participated. The Winners were: 1st Biggest Fish 17”- Brooklyn Box 2nd Biggest Fish 16”- Joe Raposo 3rd Most Fish Caught - Kayla Myers Congratulations to Bob Daniels a guest at the Ranch from Orlando Florida who caught a 5 ¼ Rainbow trout while visiting the Ranch. We will be having Craft classes on Wednesday at 10AM. Bread Dough roses are the next project. There is a charge for the materials used. Please come in and sign up for the class & join the fun!! A great place for consignees to sell their extras, clutter, or donate items to the Craft House. All proceeds go to keep up the Craft House and to benefit the Ranch. All workers are volunteers, If you have a few hours to spare come and see us.

Coffee Club Reminder Everyone please pay your 75¢ for your cup of coffee!! Please do not use filters for your popcorn.

Attention Members & Guests Please help us recycle your aluminum cans by putting them in the designated wire containers that are sitting next to each trash dumpster!! Thanks!!

Please tie all of your garbage bags before putting them in the dump station. Thank You Quilt Raffle @ the Trading Post Will be raffled Labor Day Weekend

School House June 6th we will be having an All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast, for $3.00 in the Patio Room starting at 6:30am to 10:00am. The School House monthly meeting will be held on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30PM in the Patio Room. Volunteers needed to sit at the School House Saturday afternoons from 1PM-3PM to allow people to see inside. June 9th 9AM- We need help scraping the school house getting it ready to paint (Bring ladders, scrapers, and wire brushes) Next regular meeting will be July 14th at 6:30PM in the Patio Room!

Trading Post News The Season is here! Hope you have had a great year so far, but if you are at Cloud 9 Ranch now you ARE having a REAL great time, so lets get started. Come on over to the Trading Post to see all the new stuff we have this year. We now have Hot pretzels, Nacho’s, Chili Cheese Nacho’s, Hot dogs, Polish sausage, Bratwurst & microwave sandwiches. There are also new designs of T-shirts, Doggie clothes, Camp stoves, BBQ pits plus lots more!!! Come on in to see us & we will be glad to help you out. Then if you want to go to the Family pool don’t forget to come to the Concession stand for you pool supplies: Beach balls, Fun noodles, Swim rings, Goggles, Diving sticks, Beach towels & Little swimmers undies. Of course we still have; Smoothies, Snow cones, Nachos, Chili cheese nachos, Popcorn, Chips, Candy, Ice Cream bars, Soda, Powerade, Vitamin Water, & Water . So come & have a good time at the Ranch. Don’t forget to come & Play the Batting Cages.

Bylaws Committee The Bylaws Committee invites members to provide suggestions for revisions or additions to the Ranch Bylaws. Suggestions can be sent to the Ranch office and marked: Attention Bylaws committee or members can log onto http://cloud9ranch.net and the designated Bylaw Forum to post suggestions. As work progresses the Bylaw Forum will be utilized for members to give continued comments on Bylaw changes. Members are encouraged to contact committee chairman, Don Willis at [email protected].

1. Steel posts have been places at the entrance of Cold Cave to prevent ATV’s from driving into it. Defacing a cave is against Ranch rules and State Regulations. 2. Reminder to Fishermen, you can only do Catch & Release when fishing with fly or spinner baits not minnows, power bait, or scented plastic baits. When you have harvested your 5 trout you can not do Catch & Release. If you have your position limit (10 per license or 20 per family) you shouldn’t be fishing at all. ~~Thank You Frank Shores
