29 September – 1 October, 2009 288 Edward Street, Brisbane DRP-400 is a 2 day advanced level IT Disaster Recovery Plan and DR Project Management course. Participants will be taught pertinent knowledge, concepts and best practices, equipping them with the skills to manage organizational DRP programs and strategies effectively. Course Overview This course will provide participants with the pertinent concepts, skills and knowledge, empowering them to: - Develop, implement and manage comprehensive DRP plans, projects and programs - Develop recovery procedures and resumption strategies to support critical IT and infrastructure components and assets - Develop, implement and conduct DRP awareness and training programs - Conduct periodic and regular DRP tests and exercises - Implement DRP audit and assessment programs to ensure DR plan effectiveness

Instructors / Training Focus Our BCM Institute certified instructors are experts in their field of Business Continuity Management and have been in the industry a minimum of 15 years. Our approach is to train in an interactive environment where experience and learnings are shared openly. Participants are requested to actively participate in discussions and workshops.

Pre-requisites Participants are expected to be capable of demonstrating suitable IT DRP experience for a course of this nature. This will allow participants to actively participate in each session and contribute openly to discussion surrounding current issues and case studies.
