29 – 31 July, 2009 Suva, Fiji BCM-300 is a 2.5 day intermediate course. Participants will acquire the essential skills and knowledge of business impact analysis, risk analysis, testing and exercising and keeping Business Continuity (BC) plans current. BCM-300 will also introduce the essential steps of developing business continuity and disaster recovery strategies, design and implementation of BC plans, preparing and conducting awareness and training programs. Course Overview This course will provide participants with the pertinent concepts, skills and knowledge, empowering them to: - Identify possible threats that may disrupt critical business functions in the organization - Identify and conduct analysis of business requirements to recover critical business function - Develop effective functional response and recovery plans - Strengthen organizational resiliency to counter major incidents and disasters

Course Key Benefits At the end of this course the participants will acquire the essential skills and knowledge in BC management and planning. They will be equipped with skills to guide their departments or business units in reducing and mitigating the impact of the financial losses and legal liabilities, thus protecting key organizational assets; as well as ensuring the continuity and recovery of critical business operations during a disaster.

Who Should Attend This course is designed for Middle Management, Department Representatives, Business Unit Coordinators; BC/DR Managers.

Pre-requisites and Certification Participants are expected to have 1 year relevant BCM experience or completed BCM-200. Participants who successfully pass the online examination at the completion of the course will be able to apply for certification as Business Continuity Certified Specialist (BCCS).
