Developing and conducting effective tests and exercises is a necessary and key element in Business Continuity Management (BCM) program management. BC project managers and coordinators are required to carry out the tasks in these stages. This course will empower the participants with the knowledge and skills needed to develop test-exercise programs; execute the tests; then, update the BC/Disaster Recovery (DR) plans. Participants will understand: • Key objectives of testing and exercising in BCM • Types of tests and exercises • Development of test and exercise programs • Development of performance metrics • Conducting pre and post exercise briefings • Conducting and recording the results • Reporting and recommendation next actions Participants will be able to develop effective test and exercise programs; the results and findings will be useful in keeping BC-DR plans current.
