24 – 26 June, 2009 288 Edward Street, Brisbane DRP-300 is an intermediate 2 day course. This course is designed and developed for IT Disaster Recovery (DR) Managers and Planners, IT Professionals dealing with specific area within the DR planning process, any IT professional embarking on their IT Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) career. Participants will be introduced to the key concepts, elements, principles and guidelines of developing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning strategies, design and implementation of DR plans, preparing and conducting awareness and training programs.

Course Overview Participants will gain and be equipped with crucial DR skills and knowledge; empowering them to support the DRP team and organization to: - Assess risks and analysis assessments to IT and technology related components - Conduct the business impact analysis to identify critical IT and technology resources to support key users - Develop and evaluate effectiveness of related recovery plans and procedures

Course Key Benefits IT and technical specialists and practitioners responsible for developing and maintaining recovery processes and procedures in IT DR plans will benefit from the concepts, skills, knowledge and practical experience shared and demonstrated by our instructors in this course.

Who Should Attend This course is designed for System Administrators and Managers; Database Managers and Administrators; DR Coordinators; Project Managers involved in application development, systems and network implementation and support; systems support engineers and consultants.

Pre-requisites and Certification Participants are expected to have a minimum of 1 year relevant direct DR experience. Participants who successfully pass the online examination (100 multiple choice questions) at the completion of the course will be able to apply for certification as a Disaster Recovery Certified Specialist (DRCS).
