Any members joining the dive club from the 1st September 2009 until the end of December will be a full club member for the Whole of 2010.

2010 Club Fees We are now taking club membership fees 2010, which will remain £12 for the year. Club fees are used to pay towards deposits for club trips and may be used to purchase Insurance for members on club trips.

Swimming Pool Sessions At Chapeltown Swimming Pool As Dive Club members, you can use the pool for only £5 per person, during our pool sessions, using your own kit, or just £15 per person including rental of full kit.

Dive Club Newsletter October Club Meeting 29th October 2009

Chaired by Jon Wilkinson Many thanks to all the people that managed to attend this month’s club meeting it was a good turn out and very nice to see some new faces, we currently have 53 active club members. Dream Divers Club Membership Fees are only £12 per person.

The next club meeting will be on Thursday 26th November 2009 7.30pm onw ard s at the Ring O Bells, Chu rch Street, Sw inton, Rotherham, S64 8EG.

So whether you just want to refresh your skills, have a piece of new kit to try out or just having that burning desire to get wet.

PADI Underwater Navigation Diver

Dream Divers Specialty course offer for November is PADI Underwater Navigation Diver

As any experienced a diver will tell you, Underwater Navigation is a one of those must have skills, that makes the difference, turning an good or even average dive, into one of those special and enjoyable dives that you remember vividly for a long time. Skills covered include:     

Navigation patterns Natural navigation (without a compass) Compass navigation How to follow irregular courses with the Nav-Finder Dive site relocation How to estimate distance underwater

The Dream Divers price normally is £110.00, as usual club members can benefit from our club members only offer price of only £99.00 per person and this includes the use of equipment if needed.

This course can be credited towards the PADI Master Scuba Diver qualification, which is PADI's highest recreational diving qualification Contact the dive centre for more details
