You could curl up in front of a roaring fire, but where’s the fun in that? Why not stimulate your senses and get another PADI Speciality course under your belt at the same time. So join us down at Stoney Cove in the late afternoon of Wednesday 18th February for the PADI Night Diver Speciality Course.

Only £110 £90 Club Members Only

Enjoy a series three dives during which you will have the opportunity to learn and of course practice the entry, exit, navigation, signalling and communication techniques that are essential when diving after dark. It doesn’t matter if you’ve dived at Stoney Cove once or a thousand times, you will experience something new during the night dives, bringing a whole new dimension to the dive site. Of course it goes without saying this certification counts towards achieving the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.

Dive Club Newsletter January Club Meeting 29th January 2009

Chaired by John Smallwood Many thanks for all the people that managed to attend this month’s club meeting it was a good turn out and very nice to see some new faces.

The next club meeting will be on Thursday 26th February 2009 7.30pm onwards at the Ring O Bells, Church Street, Swinton, Rotherham, S64 8EG.

Master Scuba Diver

Big congratulations to Andrew Cherry on becoming a MASTER SCUBA DIVER (The Highest PADI Recreational Diver Qualification)

Swimming Pool Sessions At Chapeltown Swimming Pool As Dive Club members, you can use the pool for only £5 per person, during our pool sessions, using your own kit, or just £15 per person including rental of full kit. So whether you just want to refresh your skills, have a piece of new kit to try out or just having that burning desire to get wet. Call the dive centre to book your place.

PADI Speciality Of The Month Dream Divers Specialty course offer for February is PADI Wreck Diver

PADI Wreck Diver This course is spread over two days during which you will complete a series of four dives, covering the correct techniques and protocols of wreck diving including:    

Navigation Assessment Penetration potential Line laying

The Dream Divers price normally is £145.00, as usual club members can benefit from our club members only offer price of only £125.00 per person and this includes the use of equipment if needed.

The PADI Wreck Diver Speciality will give you the knowledge to safely enjoy wreck diving all over the world.

This of course includes the PADI Certification and can count towards the PADI Master Scuba Diver Qualification. This course can be credited towards the PADI Master Scuba Diver qualification Contact the dive centre for more details

Club Fees Dream Divers Club fees are now due for 2009 and are still only £12.00 per year. Club fees will be used to pay towards deposits for club trips and to may be purchase Insurance later in the year for members on club trips

Club Members Benefits Dream Divers Club members can save many times the low annual fee, by taking advantage of the discounts available in the Dream Divers Shop for air fills and purchases of stock items, and that’s without mentioning the special club members discount on the PADI Speciality of the month course.
