Dive Club Newsletter April Club Meeting 30th April 2009

Chaired by Alison Smallwood Many thanks for all the people that managed to attend this month’s club meeting it was a good turn out and very nice to see some new faces.

The next club meeting will be on Thursday 28th May 2009 7.30pm onwards at the Ring O Bells, Church Street, Swinton, Rotherham, S64 8EG.

Dive Master

Huge Congratulations to Andy Cherry on the completion of the PADI Dive Master course internship with dream divers “well done you are now a fully fledged dive professional go on blow your whistle!!!!!!”

Swimming Pool Sessions At Chapeltown Swimming Pool As Dive Club members, you can use the pool for only £5 per person, during our pool sessions, using your own kit, or just £15 per person including rental of full kit. So whether you just want to refresh your skills, have a piece of new kit to try out or just having that burning desire to get wet. Call the dive centre to book your place.

PADI Speciality of the Month Dream Divers Specialty course offer for May is PADI Deep Diver

PADI Deep Diver Why not extend your range past 30 Metres, with PADI Deep Diver course. This is scheduled to be carried out at Stoney Cove, and consists of four dives over two days.

The Dream Divers price normally is £145.00, as usual club members can benefit from our club members only offer price of only £135.00 per person and this includes the use of equipment if needed. This of course includes the PADI Certification and can count towards the PADI Master Scuba Diver Qualification. This course can be credited towards the PADI Master Scuba Diver qualification Contact the dive centre for more details

The PADI Deep Diver Speciality will give you the knowledge to safely enjoy deep dives all over the world.

Club Fees Dream Divers Club fees are now Overdue for 2009 and are still only £12.00 per year. Can anyone who has not yet paid please do so before the End of April’s Club Meeting. Club fees will be used to pay towards deposits for club trips and to may be purchase Insurance later in the year for members on club trips

Club Members Benefits Dream Divers Club members can save many times the low annual fee, by taking advantage of the discounts available in the Dream Divers Shop for air fills and purchases of stock items, and that’s without mentioning the special club members discount on the PADI Speciality of the month course.
