Dive Club Newsletter July Club Meeting 30th July 2009

Chaired by Alison Smallwood Many thanks to all the people that managed to attend this month’s club meeting it was a good turn out and very nice to see some new faces, we currently have 49 active club members. Dream Divers Club Membership Fees are only £12 per person.

The next club meeting will be on Thursday 26th August 2009 7.30pm onw ard s at the Ring O Bells, Chu rch Street, Sw inton, Rotherham, S64 8EG.

PADI Speciality of the Month Dream Divers Specialty course offer for August is PADI Deep Diver

Swimming Pool Sessions At Chapeltown Swimming Pool As Dive Club members, you can use the pool for only £5 per person, during our pool sessions, using your own kit, or just £15 per person including rental of full kit. So whether you just want to refresh your skills, have a piece of new kit to try out or just having that burning desire to get wet. Call the dive centre to book your place.

PADI Deep Diver Why not extend your range past 30 Metres, with PADI Deep Diver course. This is scheduled to be carried out at Stoney Cove, and consists of four dives over two days.

The Dream Divers price normally is £145.00, as usual club members can benefit from our club members only offer price of only £135.00 per person and this includes the use of equipment if needed.

The PADI Deep Diver Speciality will give you the knowledge to safely enjoy deep dives all over the world.

Club Fees Club fees will be used to pay towards deposits for club trips and may be used to purchase Insurance later in the year for members on club trips.

Club Members Benefits Dream Divers Club members can save many times the low annual fee, by taking advantage of the discounts available in the Dream Divers Shop for air fills and purchases of stock items, and that’s without mentioning the special club members discount on the PADI Speciality of the month course.

Plans For 2010 As you all know the Dream Divers Dive Club, thrives on member participation and involvement, and an important part of this is planning our club trips. 2010 might seen a long way off, but now is the time to start planning, so we can organise the best possible choice of club trips and activities for all our members. So get your thinking caps on and let’s have some great suggestions for both diving and none diving club activities for next year at our August Club Meeting.
