ABSTRAC
Tensioner is one method to generate a voltage in the fiber and applied to t5he manfacture of composite pipe. With the development of technology, the manufacture of composite pipe can be processed using filament winding. With the filament winding machine technology, the manufacture of composite pipe can be said to be very satisfactory. In this case there is something that affects that is the presence tensioner component, where in the tensioner is one of the components or regulators and voltage stabilizer in the processof filament winding machine. The function of the tensioner is to keep the voltage of the fiber fixed in accordance with the required machinery, so that with the tensioner can help the process of with drawal is proportional to motor rotation is generated. In this design, the maximum voltage fiber only 2 kg. Based of these problem, the authors make this topic as the final project while the title of this thesis is “The Design Tensioner For The Filament Winding Process”.
