How Reliance Fresh is going online? Assignment-05 of Marketing Management-I

Steps followed for How Reliance Fresh is going online? For launching the e-commerce of Reliance Fresh, I will follow some steps. These are as follows:



Step 1. Identifying the problem. The problem is to launch the Reliance Fresh online in the Indian Market. 

 

Step 2. Defining the problem. 1. To understand the marketing strategy of Reliance fresh and study its objective. 2. To analyze the current marketing strategies of reliance fresh. 3. To recommend strategies for future course of action in e-commerce business. 4. Step 3. Development of approach to the problem.  Developing new clients by comparative study of market variables such as cost etc. and providing them with superior service.  Setting up an effective network of franchisee, warehouses/cold storage for supplying grocery/perishable products.  Training, developing and mentoring in- house sale representative as well as dealer retailers and stockiest by developing new training tools. 

 

Step 4. Collect the information. Information can be collected in two ways, i.e. either by using primary data or by secondary data. Here we can take an example of Railway Reservations, now a days about one-third (1/3) of the total reservation is done online. Because, it saves time and harassment of a person. It simply means that there can be a great advantage of First Mover in this segment. Now we can collect primary data; by filling the questionnaire, making some small researches by launching it in one or two places, taking face- to-face interview and suggestion of different people and online voting etc. Secondary data can be obtained from the current scenario of telephonic order in the various Reliance Fresh outlets. 

Step 5. Analyse the information.



Analysis can be done on these basis;



ANALYSIS, DESCRIPTION, EXAMPLE APPLICATION  Multiple Regression (Driver Analysis) 

Describes the relationship of each variable in a set (and the set of variables as a whole) to a single variable. 

Determine key "drivers" of overall customer satisfaction with your service.  Cluster Analysis 

Identifies homogeneous sub-groups within a much larger group of respondents. 

Identify customer profiles or market segments, groups of customers or potential customers who make similar decisions and perceive products and services similarly.  Factor Analysis 

Reduces a complicated data matrix into its more basic structural essentials. 

Uncover basic dimensions employees use to evaluate how satisfied they are working for your organization. 

 Perceptual Mapping (Multidimensional Scaling) Extracts multiple dimensions from a variable set and positions concepts within that space. Visualize how customers mentally organize competitors in your product or service category and your brand's position relative to your competitors.  Structural Equation Modeling Tests how well observed data confirm an entire theoretical model. Describe the process by which customer loyalty is built for your particular product or service category.  Data Mining Detects useful and sometimes unexpected patterns among variables in a data set. Increase revenues by cross-selling your products. (Source: - Internet) 

Step 6. Present the findings. It simply means that the target customers are less in number. And uncertainties are unlimited. But I (as the manager of Reliance Fresh) can take the risk and play a gamble because people are getting more conscious about saving the time. As we know that “no risk no game” and “time is money”, these two may be proverbs for others, but is the base for creating a new market for Reliance Fresh. 



Step 7. Make the decision. On the basis of above findings; I decided to launch the e-commerce for Reliance Fresh in the Metro Cities first. If it will be successful, then only I will launch it in the other cities of our country. 
