Meghan is the most positive person I’ve ever met and her hard work as an RA deserves recognition. This past month, Meghan has been stellar as usual. Lazy Day Lawn Party is a large campus program that has a tradition spanning over 8 years. Meghan took the initiative to get the campus cafeteria to close down and come out to the program which is no easy feat. As a result, Meghan single handedly ensured the success of the program. Meghan also goes above and beyond getting to know her residents. It is not uncommon for Meghan to be hanging out with them or having conversations with them. As an RA in the area in which Meghan lives, I sometimes feel like she even knows my residents better than I do. Meghan really makes an effort to have an impact on many peoples’ lives. On a personal level, Meghan really helped me out this past month. I do an annual floor canvas that goes on the floor that my residents get to paint their names on. However, I lack serious art skills and usually have trouble getting the other words painted on. Meghan is the craft club president and so I casually asked her one day to help. Without hesitation Meghan agreed and ended up spending a whole hour make my floor canvas look awesome. It is instances like these where Meghan truly shines.
