Krystal has been a member in some housing government each year this far in her college career. The interesting thing about Krystal is she knows the value of every individual. Freshman year I was on Belk's Area Chapter and Krystal was our promised member. Each week we held a meeting and if no one else came Krystal was there. She did not need to be President or Vice President to be committed. She surely showed her support through simple membership. Sophomore year Krystal was highly active in the Village Area Chapter and I often saw her at programs with her bright attitude and smile. That is the type of personality we need supporting and putting on programs. It's contagious! Over the summer, I had a discussion with Krystal in the Village Clubhouse about programs and events that were happening and asking about possibly running for a position on the Village Executive Board for this year. Krystal at once was telling me about programs here and there and everywhere. She offered to email Tracy, who at the time was the Assistant Resident Coordinator, to let her know that I was interested in finding out more information. Krystal was more than helpful she encouraged me to want to get involved that much more. I honestly do not know Krystal that well but the year has only begun and she already been busy putting together creative programs. She is on the Residence Hall Association leadership team and she just recently helped put on Summer Sizzle, which

was a blast. She greeted me as soon as I walked up with her enthusiasm and I loved it! Overall I feel as though Krystal has worked extremely hard being involved and has made quite an impact on me as I am sure many others. She learned the value of being a member and has continually used her commitment to make even greater strides on our campus. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------3-4 Sentence Summary of this OTM: This individual has worked for the past few years with housing and residence life. Her commitment to housing related activities and to individuals makes her stand out. Krystal’s personality has impacted those who don’t know her that well.
