General OTM Information Try to not be very campus specific.
Obviously you have to be for the most part but be conscious not to use proper names or phrases that you know NCSU people would understand but maybe people outside of the university would not.
Make sure to correct all grammatical and spelling errors.

Nomination David Horne is a student that is part of the Triad Area Council, the hall council for the Triad residence halls in North Carolina State University. Recently, during March, the president had stepped down from office and David had been asked to take his place. David accepted even though he was not mentally prepared to take on such responsibilities. From that meeting, David has done an excellent job pulling the Hall Council together and accomplishing a lot. One thing that David has done this month was hold well organized meetings and started rotating the meeting spots around to the three residence halls that make up the Triad. Also, David had complete and organized agendas for each meeting that covered everything that was important for that time. David started organizing a huge Triad-wide event that is held every year and is called the Triad Palooza. This program takes a lot of people to organize and help make it a success so David has even gone to the RAs for help in setting up and cleaning up. Another thing that David is working on for the Triad is the Residence hall t-shirt competition. There was a huge dispute over the t-shirt design and David had to make the big decision. The dispute was over a past occurrence where a resident had submitted a design that was not accepted. Because of this, the resident continually submits a design each year with a crude image within it somewhere. David had to go talk with the particular resident and have him retract his design and resubmit it without the crude image. This finally being solved, the hall council was able to vote on the winning t-shirt design. In all, David has gone beyond his call of duty this month by stepping up and really showing that he does have what it takes to lead a
hall council and be very efficient at it as well. David plans to continue with the president position and hopefully can turn what was a small hall council with hardly any members to one that is full of residents wanting to make the Triad a better place to live. Word count (600 Maximum): 343
