Senator McCain has accused Senator Barack Obama of being a socialist or ‘Redistributionist and Chief’. An infamous statement of such magnitude parallels McCarthyism of the 1950’s. It connotes the meaning that Senator Obama is unpatriotic. Congress should censure John McCain for even suggesting that Senator Obama is a socialist.
