The book written by Jenny Han entitled "To all the boys I love before" is about the High school junior Lara Jean Covey played by Lana Condor who writes letters to boys she feels an intense passion, before locking the letters away in her closet. The story turns a bit exciting since there’s a confusion of feelings and relationship between Peter, Lara jean, and Josh. Many readers gave positive feedback to the book encouraging the author to write a sequel book entitled "P.S. I Still Love You" To all the boys I’ve loved before was interesting, exciting and heart fluttering that anyone could relate to. The book was splendid and remarkable to read because it’s like you’re interacting with every character in every scene. It was an eye opener to those people who can relate, and that’s why we think it had a very successful movie adaptation made by the famous movie site Netflix. The book has many flowery words and metaphors and we think that added to the beauty of the book, the main character, Lara Jean is also very relatable because of her awkwardness and clumsiness that made her even cuter, and that resulted to the readers more engaged to read. Lara Jean has had several crushes but always hid It, and she’s constantly trapped on her own fantasies because of her fear of judgement; like other people that we label as introverts, they also experience the same thing and we think that they can get many morals in reading this book to apply it in their everyday life. She also had a fake relationship with Peter Kavinski that they believe as a win-win situation since both of the will benefit, without knowing that they would eventually fall for each other; escaping from your decisions or actions often has a setback, it can generate a positive and negative effect in our lives, but no matter what the outcome is we should always accept and deal with it in anyway, and always learn from every mistake that it may bring to be a better version of yourself. Like her father said, her, meeting Peter was one of the best decisions that she made because for the first time he saw her daughter genuinely happy and engaging in social activities (e.g. partying). The story didn’t only focus on the romantic comedy genre, the book also shows the bond of their family that they possess, that no matter what obstacle or struggles that they may face, the love and support of their family will never fade. The story tells us how important socializing is, it’s always alright to stay at your comfort zone but you’ll never grow there. The protagonist Lara Jean is an introvert in the story, but she proved that never be condemned by your own fantasy, instead learn how to face the reality. The story also tells us how family is important in our life, no matter how bad your relationship with your family what matter is blood is always thicker than water. In our life we must never build a wall for us to be isolated from others, instead we must build a bridge to be more open to the world and for others to see our value.
