RESOLUTION DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ISSUE CERTIFICATES OF OBLIGATION FOR PURCHASE OF A WATER SYSTEM
WHEREAS,this City Councildeemsit advisableto give notice of intentionto issuecertificatesof obligationof the City of PelicanBay,Texas,ashereinafterprovided;and WHEREAS, it is officially found anddeterrninedthatthe meetingat which this resolution hasbeen considered andacteduponwas opento the public andpublic notice of the time, placeand subjectof said meetingwas given,all asrequiredby Tex. Gov't CodeAnn. ch. 551; Now, Therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY TFIE CITY COI.INCILOF TFIE CITY OF PELICAN BAY: Section 1. FORM OF NOTICE. Attachedhereto is a form of Notice of Intention to Issue Certificatesof Obligation,the form andsubstanceof which areherebyadoptedand approved. Section2. PUBLICATIONOFNOTICE. SaidNoticeshallbe published,in substantiallythe form attachedhereto,in a newspaper,as definedin Tex. Gov't CodeAnn. $2051.044, of generalcirculationin the areaof saidCity,oncea weekfor two consecutive weeks,the dateof the first publicationthereofto be passage beforethe 14thdaybeforethe datetentativelysetfor of the ordinanceauthorizingthe issuanceof suchcerfificates.
