A Peek at the Week Reading: We will read “I Go With My Family To Grandma’s”, “Song of the Train”, and “On the Go.” We will learn the /ks/ spelled x, /z/, /sh/, and /th/ sounds. We will talk about predicting, classifying, classification, and figurative language. Language Arts/Writing: This week will begin looking at classification, and singular and plural nouns. Math: We continue learning more about subtraction. Social Studies: This week we will learn more about community leaders.
Box tops for Education!
We are now collecting box tops for education to help fund our learning at our new school. Please remember to save your box tops and send them in with your child as soon as possible. Every little bit helps!
Homework Homework Matrix, Math Packet, Book It! Reading Log--read with your students every night for 20 minutes. High Frequency Words: first, new, old, put, were Related Arts Monday: PE Tuesday: Music Wednesday: Computer Thursday: Art Friday: Library and Spanish **Please remember to bring your library books to school every Friday! **
