What is our lesson last time? 2. In order to get the mean of ungrouped data, what is the first step? Second step? 3. How about in grouped data?

C. Developmental Activity a. Activity/Motivation Solve the problem. Michael’s grandparents gave him a piggy bank with 10 pesos for his birthday. Michael added 10 pesos each week to the piggy bank and recorded how much money he had in it at the end of each week. If he did this for 7 weeks after his birthday, what is the median of the amount he recorded during this week? b. Analysis 1. Present the data recorded by Michael using a stack of coins. 2. Arranged it in ascending order. 3. Find the middle of the data. 4. Define median. c. Abstraction Median is the middle number in a set of ordered numbers. How to find the median of ungrouped data. 1.
