For Valentine’s Day, Fiberarts invited readers to send us fabric postcards, addressed to their sweeties, for us to mail from our hometown post office in Loveland, Colorado. Loveland offers a special romantic postmark for the holiday. We received more than 200 postcards from as far away as Belgium. The makers of five postcards, drawn at random, received fun prizes to fuel their creative fires. (Thanks to sponsors www.Joggles.com, which markets a range of supplies for textile, cloth-doll, and mixedmedia artists, and Kaspareks, www.kaspareks.biz, which creates fineart rubber stamps and collage elements for fiber artists.) With the exception of this postcard by Mary Andrews (RIGHT), these valentines were not seen inthe April/May issue of Fiberarts, but they were too cool not to show you. So enjoy, and get inspired for your next holiday!
