CONCERT
Our concert has come and gone. I would like to thank all the parents who made and wrote such complimentary comments. I do feel that the growth in the children far outweighs the few negatives. Thank you too, to the parents for collecting their children so promptly after the concert. Now that we are back to normal, we will enforce school starting times, in order that classes are not disrupted.
SGB ELECTIONS
We have 183 parents who have promised to attend this meeting. We need 244 to form a quorum i.e. another 61 parents in order to proceed with the elections. Please assist us in making this meeting “happen”. We really do not want to reschedule. Your completion of the reply slip has ensured that we can check our voters’ roll.
It is the people who work at our school who make the difference, and they certainly have.

DRIVE ANTI-CLOCKWISE
Please don’t use the admin parking area for drop-offs and collections of your children. This is preventing the staff and teachers even getting into the school.
Instead, please use both Cumberland and Stirling Roads and try driving anti-clockwise around the school. Then your children don’t have to cross any roads and you don’t have to park on the wrong side of the road, facing oncoming traffic, causing congestion and delays for everyone else. You can also try stopping at Bryanpark Spar for your first cup of coffee of the day and walk your children across the street :o)
MAGNETIC FRIDGE FILE
Is your fridge completely covered in kids’ artwork, bills, reminders and Bryandale Newsletters? Then you need one of the amazing new Magnetic Fridge Files. Available from the office for only R25 each. Get one now and claim back your fridge!
