66. Trust in neighbourhoods* Number of people in the neighbourhood that residents feel can be trusted, 2001 to 2005

Between 2001 and 2005 the percentage of people who said they trusted many people in their neighbourhood rose from 40 per cent to 47 per cent. The percentage of people who said they trusted some people remained at approximately 35 per cent. *Contextual wellbeing measure – please see indicator No. 68 for more details.
