Across a range of issues, an average of 65 per cent of households were satisfied with their local area in 2005-6, little changed from 67 per cent in 1999-2000. Traffic was identified as a problem by 53 per cent of households, litter/rubbish by 43 per cent and vandalism/hooliganism by 41 per cent. Across the same range of issues, an average of 60 per cent of households in Neighbourhood Renewal Fund Districts were satisfied with their local area in 2005-6.
