SARI

Daerah pemetaan termasuk dalam wilayah Serang dan sekitarnya, Kecamatan Bawang, Kabupaten Banjarnegara, Provinsi Jawa Tengah dengan luas daerah 30 km². Berdasarkan aspek morfometri, morfografi, dan morfogenetik, daerah penelitian dibagi menjadi empat satuan geomorfologi yaitu satuan geomorfologi perbukitan tersayat tajam, satuan geomorfologi berbukit bergelombang Structural,satuan geomorfologi bergelombang/miring, satuan geomorfologi berbukit tersayat tajam vulkanik. Berdasarkan konsep stratigrafi, daerah penelitian dibagi menjadi lima satuan batuan. Satuan batuan tersebut dari tua ke muda yaitu satuan basalt merupakan batuan tertua, lalu secara tidak selaras di endapkan diatasnya oleh satuan batu sekis lalu secara tidak selaras di endapkan. diatasnya satuan breksi polemik, lalu secara tidak selaras diendapkan diatasnya oleh satuan batu breksi andesit, lalu munculnya intrusi andesit yang termuda. Struktur geologi yang berkembang pada daerah penelitian adalah patahan. Patahan yang terjadi adalah sebagai berikut: sesar mendatar dekstral Gunung Sipencil Struktur pada daerah pemetaan diperkirakan terbentuk pada kala pliosen. Pola struktur yang berkembang pada daerah pemetaan ini memiliki arah gaya dominan relatif barat laut - tenggara.

ABSTRACT Study area is located in Serang and the surrounding villages, Bawang District, Banjarnegara Regency, Central Java Province, with an area of 30 km². Study covers mapping and analyses on geomorphology, stratigraphy, and structural geologys aspects which are being reconstructed as geological history and geological potential evaluation in terms of resources as well as geological hazards. Based on morphometry, morphography, and morphogenetics analysis, the study area is divided into two geomorphological units which are structural sharply hills unit and structural wavy hills unit Based on stratigraphic concepts, the study area is divided into five rock units. Those five units from oldest to youngest are basalt unit, conformably deposited above it is scisht with marl interval unit, then tuffaceous sandstones, unconformably followed by andesite intrusion, and the last is alluvial deposits unit. Geological structures developing in study area are Gunung Sipencil dextral strike-slip fault. Structures in the study area are estimated to be formed during Pliocene. The structural pattern developing in the study area has a relatively dominant northwest-southeast force direction.
