The meeting was called to order by Mayor Knoll at 7:00 p.m.

Corbett: That the agenda for the May 19, 2009 meeting be accepted as amended. CARRIED. Greve: That the minutes of the May 4, 2009 regular meeting be adopted. CARRIED. Corbett: That the payroll for April in the amount of $27,710.61 be accepted. CARRIED.

April Bank Reconciliation & Financial Statement 163.2009 Hinz: That Council accept the April bank reconciliation and financial statement as presented. CARRIED. May List of Accounts 164.2009 Helmuth: That Council approve the May list of accounts, cheque numbers 9117 to 9213 in the amount of $114,438.09. CARRIED.

Page 2 Tangible Capital Asset Workshop/Office Closed 165.2009 Greve: That Nicole LaChance and Annette Regehr be authorized to attend a tangible capital asset software workshop being held in Saskatoon on June 25, 2009, with associated expenses being paid by the municipality, and that the office be closed on that day. CARRIED. July & August Council Meeting Dates 166.2009 Hinz: That there be one regular Council meeting for July and August, and that they be held on the following dates: Monday, July 20 Monday, August 17 CARRIED. Tourist Booth Coordinator 167.2009 Reimer: That Sherryl Britton be hired as the tourist booth coordinator for the 2009 season, and that she be paid $2,000 for the season. CARRIED. Designated Areas for Garage Sale Signs Rescinded by #197.2009, June 1, 2009 168.2009 Reimer: That the Town designate the following locations for garage sale signs to be posted within town: - community bulletin board - corner of 6th Street and Railway Avenue (northeast side) - green space at corner of 4th Avenue and 11th Street at “Y” intersection - west side of 4th Avenue at Highway #312 - east side of Railway Avenue and Highway #312 - landfill road and Highway #312. Ana Schaufele Correspondence 172.2009 Hinz: That the administrator correspond with Ana Schaufele, wishing her well in the sale of her building and also advising her that the Town is not prepared to purchase the bowling alley. CARRIED. Hinz: That Dan and Rose Remery’s request be approved to remove two trees, at their cost, from the Town boulevard in front of their residence at 4003 5 th Street to accommodate a driveway with a maximum 24’ width in order to park their motorhome in their yard, with a final inspection being done by the outside superintendent, Colin Aebig. CARRIED.

Valley Action – Tow Bill 175.2009 Corbett: That the Town inform Valley Action that the Town will not pay for tow bills for vehicles driving and getting stuck in the gutter due to wet spring conditions. CARRIED. Bylaw 2009-08 – Set Fees for the Pickup of Waste Material 1st Reading 176.2009

Curb Adjustment on 7th Street/Railway Avenue 192.2009 Corbett: That the Town adjust the curb level along Railway Avenue at the 7th Street intersection to allow vehicles to enter the green space for parking near the Station Arts Centre. CARRIED. Block Subdivision – Water Request 193.2009 Reimer: That the Town follow its current policy to provide water to current residents and businesses within the town only, and that developments outside the municipality secure their own source of water. CARRIED. Adjourn 194.2009
