The meeting was called to order by Mayor Knoll at 7:07 p.m. Corbett: That the agenda for the October 20, 2008 regular meeting be accepted as amended. CARRIED. Janzen: That the minutes of the October 6, 2008 regular meeting be adopted. CARRIED.
September Payroll 300.2008 Hinz: That the payroll for September in the amount of $24,502.14 be accepted. CARRIED. September Bank Reconciliation & Financial Statement 301.2008 Reimer: That Council accept the September bank reconciliation and financial statement as presented. CARRIED. October List of Accounts 302.2008 Hinz: That Council approve the October list of accounts, cheque numbers #8348 to #8508 in the amount of $121,489.57. CARRIED.

Administrator Holidays 303.2008 Greve: That the administrator be authorized to take October 23 and October 24 off for holidays. CARRIED. Administration Reports 304.2008 Janzen: That the following administration reports be accepted as presented: a) Town Administrator=s Report b) Outside Superintendent=s Report c) RCMP Report CARRIED. Committee Reports 305.2008 Hinz: That the following committee reports be accepted as presented: a) Rosthern Recreation Board b) Economic Development c) SNCA d) Transit Committee CARRIED. Animal Control Training 306.2008 Greve: That Eric Willie, animal control officer, be authorized to get training for animal control, with associated expenses being paid by the municipality. CARRIED. Correspondence 307.2008 Greve: That the following correspondence be received and filed for information: a) Ministry of Environment b) RM of Rosthern No. 403 c) Prairie Spirit School Division Newsletter d) Municipalities Today e) American Income Life f) Eric Willie CARRIED. Frank Guenther Request 308.2008 Reimer: That Tri Mee Homes’ possession date for Lot 36, Block 60, Plan 101938596 remain as of December 1, 2008 and that the company be notified of the same. Ben Fehr Request 309.2008 Greve: That the Town retain the posts of the two old iron bridges, and that they not be sold at this time. CARRIED. Proposed Subdivision – NE 25-42-3-W3 310.2008 Reimer: That the Town of Rosthern does not have any facilities, nor is aware of any incompatible land uses, in regards to the proposed subdivision of a five-acre residential parcel located on the NE 25-42-03-W3. CARRIED.
