CHAPTER I THE RESEARCH AND ITS PROBLEM
Introduction The goal of this study is to determine the effects of Learning English in Grade 11 General Academic Strand Student of College for Research and TechnologyCabanatuan City. This study aims to determine the benefits of learning English language. The world may not have a global language but English is the default option for countries forms of communication across the Globe. Like jobs application, one of the benefits of learning English is the educational opportunities It’s expected that around 2 billion people around the world will learn English over the next decade. According to Clancy M, and Hruska B, 2005 English is most widely spoken native language in the world English may not be the most spoken language in the world but it is the official language in the large countries . Working knowledge of the English can create many of opportunities international if we do not learn English that it means we are keeping ourselves away from the half of the world knowledge and according to Deepak Khati 2016 almost 65 % of the people in the world use English regularly and English is very important has a many advantages such as improvement of our knowledge and good interact with local people when we were travel to the other countries. Therefore, learning English language is important to broaden our knowledge and also you will be able to communicate in many places and English is common used in job. This research will inform the teacher and the student about the effect of learning English language and it is also help to student improve their knowledge about learning English language.

Scopes and Delimitations of the Study The goal of this study is to determine the effects of Learning English in Grade 11 General Academic Strand Student of College for Research and TechnologyCabanatuan City. This study aims to determine the benefits of learning English language. The Respondent of the research are Grade 11 General Academic Strand Students in Senior high School. The respondents were chosen because this research focus on one track and also, Gas have the most enrolees this academic year (20172018). The data will be gathered through questionnaire. It will start on January and expected to be finished on February 2018. The researchers will seek the authorization from the Dean's office for them to have a permission to go to the classrooms of the respondents. The questionnaire will be distributed.

Significance of Study The following will be the beneficiaries of this research: Students- The beneficiaries of this study are the students of Grade 11 General Academic Strand of College for Research and Technology to inform them on how learning English language will be beneficial to their study. The Future Researcher- Will develop their knowledge about the topic that gathered form data. College for Research and Technology- This research is for enhancing the College for Research and Technology students to inform that this study is important to know because it is talk about the learning English language.

CHAPTER II REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE According to Andrew Abrahamson (2015) The benefits English reach beyond economic, educational and employment advantages. It also increases a child's linguistic abilities because bilingual children ate better able to comprehend the complexities associated with a particular language's share a similar pronunciation and vocabulary. The connection is made for children early on and makes learning a new language more attainable. Children who learn English as a second language are able to expand their vocabulary across both languages. According to Cristina Martin (2017) Learning a foreign language,teachers and experts generally focus on different benefits. Most of them social or practical. Better job opportunities, better salaries, a broader understanding of the world. More confidence to travel anywhere and experience new cultures. The chance to meet people from other countries or use social networks more effectively and the ability to make sentences and understand how they are pronounce to learn now how to comprehend and create messages that convey the desired meaning. According to LTC EASTBOURNE (2016)English is almost a universal language and will be able to communicate in many places around the world and English is commonly a pre- requisite for many jobs there is a job for it there a high chance that speaking English will be extremely beneficial and you'll able to enjoy media from all over the world instead of being limited to just that of your home country you'll be able to read stories, play music,and read news that will not only be enjoyable,but will expand your view of the world. According to Andrew Myers ( 2014) In United states, the school aged population has grown modest 10 percent in the last three decades, while the number of children speaking a language other than English at home has soared by 140 percent. According to Kelly knight (2015) The ability to speak and understand the English language has a number of benefits including helping your company to succeed because the ability to use English is a huge asset to many companies and organizations, a good knowledge of English allows you to communicate effectively with international clients. According to Jeanne Baird (2017) The English language is the primary language of business thought the world. The ability to fluently speak the English language can be beneficial if you are seeking a job. That English is used almost everywhere is only one of the many advantages of learning the language. According to Academia (2011) There is many important reason why student choose to study English courses because English is one of the most widely spoken languages. It can be useful when it comes to business there are opportunities o travel and explore different parts of the world and travellers who knows to speak English are better able to communicate and most of the information that we can get from conducted , compose and published book written in English. According to Lynda Lambert (2017) English is a language that is spoken around the world, there are many advantages to learning how to speak English , but it is a challenging process however it is worth it for the wealth of information and opportunity it opens up for a person. According to Abas Mohamed (2016) Learning English grammar are many benefits, its improve our speaking skills it can help yours to communicate easier, it can be useful specially on job interview, it also improve our listening skills to understand easier what other peoples saying and it also improve our reading ang writing skills.

CHAPTER III METHODOLOGY Research Method Qualitative Research is a type of social science research that collects and works with non-numerical data and that seeks to interpret meaning rom these data that help to understand social life through the study of targeted population or places. Method of qualitative research include observation and immersion, interviews, open-ended surveys, focus groups, content analysis of visual and textual materials, and oral history.(www.thoughco.com) Research Locale The study will be conducted at St. Padre Burgos, Cabanatuan City of College for Research and Technology. Respondents of the study The respondents of the research are Grade 11 General Academic Strand Students in Senior High School. The respondents here chose this research focus on one track and also, General Academic Strand have the most enrolees this year (2017-2018). Validity of Instrument This research validated of Mr.Lemuel-Kim Garcia to allow the researcher to give questionnaire to their respondent to come up a solution. Data Gathering and Procedures The first procedure in gathering data is to make a request letter. Upon approval of the dean as well as the advisors and other faculty members will selected in the administration. In administering the questionnaire, the research was use the time allotted for vacant to avoid distraction of class discussion. The student responses were given enough time to answer the question, given by the researchers.

Chapter V Summary The goal of this study is to determine the effect of learning English language to grade 11 General Academic Strand student of College for research Technology this study aims to determine the benefits of learning English to the Student. English language are use in communication and it's expected that around 2 billion people around the world will learn English over the next decade. According to clancy M and Hruska B 2005 working knowledge of the English can create many opportunities international if we do not learn English that it means we are keeping away from the half of the world knowledge. Qualitative method are been used in this research and it is conducted in St Padre Burgos Cabanatuan City school of College for Research and Technology, the number of respondent's is 56 and it's determine by using slovin formula and the profile of respondent's will be base on there gender and age, the data is gathered through questioner which consist 10 question about learning English language. After gathering all the data from the questionnaire, the researcher found out that the effect of learning English to the student is positively helps to the student's but student commit that they cannot shared their opinion in English language so the researcher recommend to the student to value the English language as one of the most important language that they need to learn.
Recommendation •The researcher recommend to the student to value the English as one of the most important language that they need to learn. •The researcher recommend to the teacher to pay attention for those student that have a problem in learning English. •English is can be used in many things such as communicating to the foreign people, applying job and getting knowledge. •The researcher say that lack of learning English can cause a misunderstanding and misinterpreting. •The researcher recommend to the future researcher to continue this study to know the effect of learning English in the student of CRT.

Conclusion More than 93% of the respondents are 15-17 years old, and 7% of them are ranging 18-20 years old, saying that 4 out of 56 respondent. Are above 18-20 years old, Meaning the majority of the respondents ranging 15-17 years old. In 56 respondents, 37 of them are female and 19 of them are male. The respondent Agree that they understand when teacher uses visual aid written in English but student commit that they cannot shared their opinion in English language.

It also increases a child's linguistic abilities because bilingual children ate better able to comprehend the complexities associated with a particular language's share a similar pronunciation and vocabulary. The connection is made for children early on and makes learning a new language more attainable. Children who learn English as a second language are able to expand their vocabulary across both languages. According to Cristina Martin (2017) Learning a foreign language,teachers and experts generally focus on different benefits. Most of them social or practical. Better job opportunities, better salaries, a broader understanding of the world. More confidence to travel anywhere and experience new cultures. CHAPTER III METHODOLOGY Research Method Qualitative Research is a type of social science research that collects and works with non-numerical data and that seeks to interpret meaning rom these data that help to understand social life through the study of targeted population or places. Method of qualitative research include observation and immersion, interviews, open-ended surveys, focus groups, content analysis of visual and textual materials, and oral history.(www.thoughco.com) Research Locale The study will be conducted at St. Padre Burgos, Cabanatuan City of College for Research and Technology. Respondents of the study The respondents of the research are Grade 11 General Academic Strand Students in Senior High School. The respondents here chose this research focus on one track and also, General Academic Strand have the most enrolees this year (2017-2018). Chapter V Summary The goal of this study is to determine the effect of learning English language to grade 11 General Academic Strand student of College for research Technology this study aims to determine the benefits of learning English to the Student. English language are use in communication and it's expected that around 2 billion people around the world will learn English over the next decade. According to clancy M and Hruska B 2005 working knowledge of the English can create many opportunities international if we do not learn English that it means we are keeping away from the half of the world knowledge. Qualitative method are been used in this research and it is conducted in St Padre Burgos Cabanatuan City school of College for Research and Technology, the number of respondent's is 56 and it's determine by using slovin formula and the profile of respondent's will be base on there gender and age, the data is gathered through questioner which consist 10 question about learning English language. After gathering all the data from the questionnaire, the researcher found out that the effect of learning English to the student is positively helps to the student's but student commit that they cannot shared their opinion in English language so the researcher recommend to the student to value the English language as one of the most important language that they need to learn.
Recommendation •The researcher recommend to the student to value the English as one of the most important language that they need to learn. •The researcher recommend to the teacher to pay attention for those student that have a problem in learning English. •English is can be used in many things such as communicating to the foreign people, applying job and getting knowledge. •The researcher say that lack of learning English can cause a misunderstanding and misinterpreting. •The researcher recommend to the future researcher to continue this study to know the effect of learning English in the student of CRT.

Conclusion More than 93% of the respondents are 15-17 years old, and 7% of them are ranging 18-20 years old, saying that 4 out of 56 respondent. Are above 18-20 years old, Meaning the majority of the respondents ranging 15-17 years old. In 56 respondents, 37 of them are female and 19 of them are male. The respondent Agree that they understand when teacher uses visual aid written in English but student commit that they cannot shared their opinion in English language.
