On 12/06/2001, Detective :eeji 111 J New Jersey State Police, and Special Agent L J Newark Division interviewed THERESA ANNE RIZZUTO, at her place of; employment, UNITED AIRLINES UAL, Terminal A, NEWARK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, Newark, New Jersey 07114, 973-961-5085. After the identities of .the interviewing investigators was made known, RIZZUTO provided the following information. / I

':::s:. RIZZUTO is the General Manager for UAL AT Newark Airport antics responsible for the daily oversight of UAL operations there. RIZZUTO provided a general understanding of the boarding procedures that were:;in place on 09-11-2001 for UAL FJ.IGHT 9J3. She identified the locatioh:JQf check-in as. well as the UAL er/nployee who conducted such on each of :t,he four hijackers. RlZZUTp did this by comparing the issuing agent'sidentificatiori mjmber that was listed on each of the hijackers' boarding passes with the record of where the agent was assigned 6n:Q9-11-2001, / I '•-.';•.. RIZZUTO advisee):;ttiat all of the suspected hijackers checked in at the front ticket counter of UAL. ZlADfJARRAH was checked in bv\. / 1 AHMAD. AL HAZNAWI was 1 AHMED ALNAMI and in by L in by|_ had recently retired subsequent to 09RIZZUTO advised thatl 11-2001. RIZZUTO could not provide/the times of the check-ins. She claimed that they would be listed on the Passenger Name Records PNR, which are available through UAL corporate office. RIZZUTO also advised; that the following reports, available through the UAL corporate office, could also provide detailed times for check-in, "doors closed" and fpush back" times related to UAL 93. These report^ are as follows; ACI printout, Gate reader report, and the ACARS report. In addition, RIZZUTO advised that UAL FLIGHT §3. was a "turn around" flight for UAL FLIGHT 78 which departed San Francisco at 7:01 p.m. on 09-10-2001. I |was shown a copy of the United Airlines flight 93 first class boarding pass dated 09/11 2001, in the name of ZlAD JARRAH seat 1B, which she had issued. She acknowledged issuing the ticket but could not recall the name, the individual, or anything surrounding the event. I Istated she worked from 4:4,5AM to 3:OOPM on 09/11/2001, and began the day by working the gates. At approximately 7:25-30AM, after a break, she began helping at the first class ticket counter. jnoted from the copy of the boarding pass that JARRAH held an e-ticket. She stated the procedure for checking in, with e-tickets is to view one form of photo ID, then issue a , boarding pass. No paper tickets are issued and no payment transactions occur at the counter. She has no idea how the ticket was paid, other than to say it was probable procured over the internet or telephone. | who is of Egyptian Christian heritage, commented that the name JARRAH is Arabic and that she usually engages conversation with Arabic people who she encounters at the ticket counter. \ ''•I United Airlines Customer Service Representative at Newark Airport, telephone! ^"l home address! \ was telephonically interviewed at her telephone^ residence since she would not return to work until Thursday 09/13/2001. vas provided the names AHMAD ALHAZNAWI (seat 68), AHMED ALNAMI (seat 3C), SAEED ALGHAMDI (seat 3D) and ZIAD JARRAH seat 1B whom she was believed to have checked-in aboard United Airlines flight 93, first class section earlier this day. (It was later learned from copies of boarding passes that she Only checked in AHMAD Al HAZNAWn.'l Iwas unable to recall any recollection of the individuals. She advised she worked from 6:QOAM to 3:OOPM on 09/11/2001, and did handle some check-ins for flight 93 to San Francisco. However, she could not recall the names or anything out of the ordinary.
