IPSWICH AND DISTRICT OSTEOPOROSIS SUPPORT GROUP

We are holding a Health Promotion event for Men’s Health which will include information on Osteoporosis, Testicular and Prostate Cancer. Osteoporosis will affect 1 in 5 men but the good news is it can be treated but you need to be bone aware.

Come and learn all about how you can minimise the effect of these 3 serious conditions The event is on: 25th September 2008 Venue: Ipswich Town Football Club. THE DEANERY QUIZ

is approaching and we are now looking for teams to compete .Lists will be in the Church porches soon. The Quiz is at St.Felix church hall Sat 20th Sept 7 for 7.30 start .Teams are of four ,and each Mass centre may put in two teams .You may also come along and support .Entrance fee £5 which includes a buffett supper BYOB . PASSION PLAY AT OBERAMMERGAU IN 2010

The Passion play at Oberammergau is performed every ten years. A group from Felixstowe is planning to visit Oberammergau in 2010 leaving Felixstowe on 20th September and arriving home on 26th September. Several members of the parish are going. Please try to support this event. ************************* CHRISTIAN AID ON SATURDAY 27TH SEPTEMBER AT 3PM the United Reformed Church at the corner of Orwell Road and Tomline Road are holding a Harvest Concert. There is a variety of music from Bach to Lennon/MCartney, and much more besides. Tickets cost £3 (including refreshments). Please ring Doug or Jenny Birchall on Felixstowe 671217 for tickets or you can pay at the door on the day. All proceeds will be given to Christian Aid.
