Family OF JESUS AND MARY

There will be Stations of the Cross every Friday during Lent in the convent at 4.45pm. Exposition and Evening Prayer at the convent every Sunday at the convent at 4.30pm. Holy Hour and Exposition every Thursday at 4.30pm in the convent. The Passover Supper will be on Monday, 6th April, in the convent at 7.30pm prompt

THE FRIENDS OF ST. ALBAN'S are holding a Winetasting Evening in conjunction with "Wines of Interest" to raise funds for St. Alban's Catholic High School. The tasting is open from 7.30 - 9.30pm on Friday 6th March at the school. Tickets cost £7 per person (18+ please) and will be exchanged on the night for 10 tasting vouchers. These can then be exchanged for tasting samples and more vouchers will be available to buy on the night. Tickets are available from the school office (Tel. 726178) or Wines of Interest (Tel. 215752). Complimentary savoury snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, cards and bar games available for those who wish to linger! All proceeds to the school.

R eady A ble G iving E verything The next meeting is on Monday, 23rd of Feb at 7.30pm and is run for Yrs 7 and up. I have a feeling this week could be quite messy as we will be making pancakes so please bring along your mates and 50p to help out.

PARISH QUIZ and supper to be held in the Church Hall on Shrove Tuesday 24th February 7.30 p.m. (supper to be sausage and mash followed by pancakes) Tickets £4 will be on sale next weekend 7th February

LENTEN HUNGER LUNCHES To be held Fridays during Lent, at 12.30pm in St. Felix Hall. Minimum Donation: £1.50 In aid of CAFOD and the Bishop's Appeals. Please note there is no hunger lunch on Friday 20th March.

ALL WELCOME Organised by the C.W.L. ************ OTHER IDEAS FOR PARISH LENTEN ACTIVITIES WOULD BE WELCOME

WOMEN'S DAY CONFERENCE To be held on Wednesday 8th April 2009, 10am - 3pm. Venue - Ranelagh Road Christian Fellowship, Felixstowe. Guest speaker: Sandy Burnett. Cost of the day is £5 which includes coffee, tea and dessert but you do need to take a packed lunch. This is a very popular ecumenical event and if you are interested in going please see the poster in the porch at St. Felix for more details.

THE FEAST OF ST. FELIX. We are celebrating the feast of St. Felix on Monday March 9th. Mass will be at 12noon followed by lunch in the Hall. If you would like to come to the lunch would you please sign your name on the List in the Church Porch as numbers are required for catering purposes.
