The history of the small Sonnelino... ... is the history of the sun, its child and where the name of our hotel originates from. As a member of the "Kinderhotels" (Children’s Hotels) cooperation we know exactly what children (and their parents, of course) wish for: a spacious and child-safe area for the children to romp around, fun children's entertainment, loving care for the children and an infrastructure which combines adventure and recreation in a unique way. Furthermore, Hotel Sonnelino is located at one of the most beautiful places in Southern Carinthia, at Lake Klopeiner See, not far from the regional capital of Klagenfurt and the neighbouring countries Slovenia and Italy. Comfortably equipped Bambino and Family apartments offer everything you need for a holiday with babies or small children. The Sonnelino mini-club guarantees fun and variety. Happy children guaranteed! A warm welcome to the mini-club! The team of the Sonnelino mini-club offers a varied programme for kids so they will definitely never be bored and the holiday will become an unforgettable adventure for your kids too. The mini-club consists of a large indoor play area (children and toddlers separate), an extra relaxation area with cots for babies, day room for parents with internet surf station and a children's cinema with children's films shown regularly. The play area offers direct access to the garden with playground and a lot of play equipment, a petting zoo and much more for playing and having fun.

An extra portion of milk Also babies from 3 months of age onwards are welcome in the Sonnelino mini-club. We have professional, friendly childminders with the right touch for our youngest guests.

Baby + Children's Indoor Beach Oh, you don't know what we mean? Well, we all know the beach at the sea. And we know indoors is the opposite of outdoors. So, an Indoor Beach is something like an in-house beach, just without sand and sea. The indoor beach offers funny dolphins and water fleas as well as a great slide. And no – you don't need to be able to swim. The pool has no waves and is toddler-safe.

Swimming is very easy with Fred's Swim Academy Many small water frogs have learned how to swim here. From the age of 4 months onwards you can jump into the pool with me.

It's so easy to reach the Sonne Holiday Hotels Arriving from eastern Austria: A2 motorway via Graz – motorway exit Völkermarkt West – at the crossroads right in the direction of Tainach / Sankt Kanzian am Klopeiner See – after approx. 1 min. (700 m) left – turn left in Tainach – continue in the direction of Sankt Kanzian am Klopeiner See – in Sankt Kanzian go right in the direction of Seelach am Klopeiner See – go straight on and past the tourist information office – at the roundabout continue straight on to the Sonne Holiday Hotels. Arriving from Germany: Travel to Salzburg and take the A10 motorway to Villach. Then take the A2 motorway in the direction of Wien/Graz (past the north of Klagenfurt) and take the motorway exit Grafenstein.
