Holy Trinity Catholic School Newsletter Principal: Dr. Charles Terry —Assistant Principal: Nicole Noverini

Principal’s News Labor Day marks the unofficial end of Summer! Hopefully, the warm weather we missed will arrive during the next two months! Please be vigilant in monitoring your child’s outerwear during this period of fluctuating temperatures. Sometimes we can experience more than a 10 degree swing during the day. Learning to dress in layers can make a big difference in the student’s comfort. I’ve noted that Ms. Netzel could use some consideration from parents calling school at the end of the day. The phone frequently rings nonstop from 2:45 until 3:15 pm with requests regarding going home or to extended care, homework for absent students, etc. This is by far the most hectic time of the day for the office staff, and these last minute requests make their life very frenetic. We urgently request that such calls be made prior to 2:30 pm so there is sufficient time to notify students and teachers. Thanks in advance for your help on this!

Diocesan Survey This past Wednesday, in the take home folder, you should have received a Diocesan Survey. The survey is a guide to help improve upon your child’s education. The Diocese of Joliet is working to identify areas of strength and topics of concern of our parents and parishioners. The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete. The deadline is Sept. 25th to complete. If you do not have access to the internet at home or at work please contact the school office at 630-971-0184. We will make a computer available to you. The public libraries in the surrounding area also have internet access available. Your input is very important to the continuation of school improvements. Thank you for your cooperation.

Business Office Note To all the families who use direct deposits for tuition, you will still receive a paper statement. This is to enable you to keep track of your payments throughout the school year.
