David Klinkenberg Special Musical Guest
Sunday, September 28th, 2008 Both Morning Services at 9:00 am & 11:00 am Accomplished violinist David Klinkenberg delivers his unique style of worship where ever he goes. From the ethereal strains of “Holy, Holy, Holy,” to the Celtic-influenced cadence of “Be Thou My Vision”, Klinkenberg takes familiar melodies on a journey not heard before. “I started playing the violin in church at a very early age, so the concept of worshipping with the violin was ingrained in me as a child. Now it is hard for me to worship without the violin.”
Beginning September 7th, 2008, we will have a new schedule for all of our Sunday morning services, classes and groups. We are making these changes to accommodate the increasing attendance throughout the church. As Portland Christian Center attracts more visitors, we want to ensure that we can accommodate everyone who attends PCC. • Sunday Morning Services - 9:00 am & 11:00 am • M.S. & H.S. Classes - 9:00 am • Children’s Church & Sunday School - 9:00 am & 11:00 am • Adult Sunday Morning Classes · Overcomers: 9:30 am in Room 228 · Frontrunners: 9:30 am in the Chapel · Cross Trainers: 11:00 am in the Chapel · Japanese Class: 11:00 am in Room 228

navigating the journey of life
Begins September 3rd 6:00 pm in Room 229 Two thousand years ago, Jesus addressed a handful of men and women who shared the same doubts and fears we face today, announcing, “You are the salt of the earth...” you have been strategically placed by God to preserve culture and illuminate God’s will for man. And that’s exactly what they did. Through this four part DVD-based series, Andy Stanley unpacks what it means to be salt and light on location; where we live, work and play. Led by Pastor Joel Slater
