GETTING TO KNOW YOU We want to get to know you better! After you’ve filled this form out, drop it in the offering plate, hand it to an usher, or take it to the receptionist’s desk near the breezeway. Name:_______________________________________________ Email: _______________________________________________ Address: _____________________________________________ City: ________________________________________________ State: _______________________________________________ Greetings on a beautiful Colorado Sunday morning. I can't tell you how pleased God is that you've chosen to worship Him today and I can't tell you how pleased I am that you've chosen to worship Him at DFC. As I write this little epistle it's Thursday night, 9/11. September 11th, and I've just returned from a wonderful service at our West Campus where Marvin and Cenida Suyen serve as pastors. They are a terrific couple and they invited me over to be part of the service. You see, they were receiving their first class of new members and I had the delightful opportunity to welcome them into our fellowship. It was an emotional time for Pastor Suyen as well as for me. These are HIS people. People he and Cenida found and won to the Lord or the church. It was inspiring to see 24 wonderful folks stand at the altar and testify to their commitment to Christ and the church. It was a helpful ending to an otherwise stressful day. We used to sing a song years ago that had a thought-provoking phrase in it. It said something like, "Many things about tomorrow, I don't seem to understand. But I know who holds tomorrow and I know who holds my hand." Brother, have I been clinging to that thought in recent days. As I spoke to the congregation at the West Campus, I used the words of Jesus as my text when He said, "I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Though it wasn't part of my message, I drove home focusing on the words, "I will build my church." It reminded me that DFC doesn't belong to me. It's His church. "Lord, please help us (me) to get out our your way and allow you to build DFC as you want it built." Anticipating,

Pastor Tim “My House Will Be Called A House Of Prayer” Isaiah 56:7 Join us in praying together this week… Lord teach us to walk in faith that we might please you. "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen."
