WHEREAS,this City Councildeemsit advisableto give notice of intentionto issuecertificatesof obligation of the City of PelicanBay, Texas,ashereinafterprovided;and WHEREAS, it is officially found anddeterminedthat the meetingat which this resolution has been considered andacteduponwas opento the public and public notice of the time, placeand subjectof said meetingwas given, all asrequiredby Tex. Gov't CodeAnn. ch. 551; Now, Therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COTINCILOF TI{E CITY OF PELICAN BAY: Section 1. FORM OF NOTICE. Attachedhereto is a form of Notice of hrtentionto Issue Certificatesof Obligation,the form and substanceof which areherebyadoptedand approved. Section2. PLTBLICATIONOF NOTICE. SaidNoticeshallbepublished,in substantiallythe form attachedhereto,in a newspaper,as definedin Tex. Gov't CodeAnn. $2051.044,of generalcirculationin the areaof saidCity,oncea weekfor two consecutiveweeks,the dateof the first publicationthereofto be beforethe 14thdaybeforethe datetentativelysetfor passageof the ordinanceauthorizingthe issuanceof such certificates.
