EXPERIENCES
TRAVELING After
 months
 of
 diligent
 preparation
 we
 were
 finally
ready
to
embark
 on
 our
 journey
at
 the
 beginning
 of
 July
 2008.
 Our
 goal
 was
 to
play
 concerts
 in
 most
 cities,
 and
 tour
 the
 peninsula
 to
 explore
 ways
 to
 promote
 Szczecin,
 the
 city
 from
which
we
come
and
where
we
started
our
musical
adventure.
We
decided
 to
 thoroughly
 prepare
 for
 our
 trip
 with
 fresh
 music
 and
 marketing.
 We
 researched
 the
 necessary
 material
 advertising
 our
 project
 required
 and
 with
 full
enthusiasm
and
detail
planned
our
route
from
Szczecin
to
Sweden.

 Sweden Goteborg Our
 first
 stop
 planned
 was
 Goteborg.
 From
 the
 beginning,
 we
 felt
 that
 this
 was
 a
 quiet
 town,
 full
 of
 charming
streets
and
cafes,
an
ideal
 place
for
the
blues
 band.
 At
 our
 first
 concert
 we
 chose
 the
 promenade
 in
 the
 heart
 of
 the
 Swedish
 city,
 Gothenburg,
 a
 strategic
 location
 full
 of
 residents
 but
 also
 tourists.
 We
 didn’t
 have
to
wait
long
 to
gain
the
attention
 of
our
audience.
 Passers-by
 listened
 to
 us,
 and
 customers
 at
 nearby
 bars
 suddenly
 focused
 solely
 on
 us.
 At
 the
 time
 we
 turned
 to
 someone
 in
 the
 crowd,
 to
 say
 a
 few
 words
 about
ourselves,
our
town
and
our
music
and
shed
some
 light
on
the
mystery
they
were
experiencing.

Jamming We
 finished
 our
first
 Scandinavian
 concert
around
 midnight,
 courtesy
 of
 local
 patrol,
 which
 apparently
 had
 a
 taste
 for
 our
 sound,
 because
 they
 let
 us
 "make
 noise"
 much
 more
 than
 impose
 regulations.
When
visiting
Gothenburg,

we
became
 even
 more
 convinced
 that
our
 idea,
 which
 came
 a
 few
 months
 ago,
 was
 definitely
 achievable.
 We
 continuted
 to
Norway
full
 of
 energy
and
 curiosity
 to
a
country
where
we
intended
 spending
most
of
 our
time.
We
were
welcomed
by
twisting
roads
along
the
Fiordes
which
seemed
 to
 have
 no
 end.
 Occassionally
 we
 encoutnered
 small
 villages
 situated
 in
 this
 picturesque
 scene.
 The
 weather
 was
 unusual
 for
 the
 season,
 but
 we
 were
 prepared
 for
 rain
 and
 Scandinavian
 temperatures
 with
 warm
 clothes.
 It
 was
 difficult
that
year
to
return
to
the
house
without
a
tan

 Norway

OSLO We
 were
 astonished
 arriving
 in
 Oslo
 and
 being
 awoken
 buy
the
hot
rays
of
the
sun!
We
could
hide
our
raincoats
 and
 umbrellas!
The
 town
 surprised
 us
 at
 first
sight.
We
 quickly
 found
 the
 perfect
 place
 for
 our
 next
 concert
 nearby
 the
 marina,
 filled
 with

 beautiful
 yachts
 and
 overlookng
 the
 bay.
 The
 atmosphere
 of
 the
 place
 was
 perfect,
 and
 we
 were
 thirsty
 for
 music.
 We
 set
 up
 our

 difficulties
 after
 practicing
 at
 the
 Swedish
 show.
 This
 time
the
audience
didn’t
have
to
wait.

Numerous
 people
 increasingly
 began
 to
 gather
 around
 us,
 and
 no
one
 hesitated
 to
ask
us
 where
 we
 came
 from.
 Many
 of
 them
 were
 dedicated
 seafarers,
 and
 so
 conversation
 regarding
 the
 Polish
coast
seemed
to
have
no
end.

 Norway BERGEN All
of
us
were
having
such
an
enjoyable
time
that
it
was
 difficult
 to
 stop
 playing.
 After
 midnight,
 we
 finally
 decided
that
it
was
time
to
say
goodbye
to
the
city
and
 move
 north.
 Our
 next
 goal
 was
 rainy
 Bergen,
 the
 city
 famous
 for
neverending
 rain.
The
 city
weather
was
 out
 of
character
and
we
were
completely
surprised
 when
in
 the
 sky
 there
 were
 no
 clouds!
 We
 felt
 very
 lucky,
 and
 immediately
started
 looking
 for
an
 attractive
 place
 for
 the
concert.

The
concert
at
the
old
market

Jamming Since
it
was
Saturday
evening
the
streets
were
full
 of
people,
 so
the
 audience
was
 eager
to
see
what
 was
 going
 on.
 There
 were
 many
 who
 wanted
 to
 sing
 with
 us,
 and
 even
 professional
 musicians.
 Szczecin-Bergen
 integration
 proceeded
 much
 more
intensively
than
we
could
have
planned.

 Norway Kristiansand
 The
last
planned
stop
in
Norway
was
a
small
village
in
Kristiansand.
Thier
climate
 and
relaxing
atmosphere
helped
us
to
find
the
 energy
to
play
a
 concert
on
our

last
day
of
the
trip
in
 the
land
 fjord.
Residents
of
the
area
specifically
asked
us
 about
Szczecin,
and
of
course
the
conditions
for
water
sports.
Our
photos
on
a
 cell
 from
 The
 Tall
 Ships'
 Races
 raised
 a
 lot
 of
 interest,
 but
 above
 all,
 another
 cascade
 of
questions
 about
the
 event.
Many
Norwegians
 travel
 one
 thousand
 kilometers
just
to
participate
in
this
event.

 Denmark Copenhagen Back
home
we
began
to
approach
the
big
steps,
but
we
 wanted
to
see
and
do
even
Copenhagen.
A
huge
number
 of
 cyclists
 made
 it
 more
 difficult
 place
 to
 find
 an
 interesting
place
for
a
 concert.
After
several
 hours,
 the
 winding
 streets
 lead
 us
 to
 a
 quiet
 corner
 just
 outside
 the
 market
 square
 where
 the
 police
 turned
 out
 to
 be
 generous,
 and
 the
 owners
 of

 nearby
 pubs
 and
 cafes
 were
very
understandable.
It
turned
 out
that
we
were
 a
 tourist
 attraction
 mainly
 for
 tourists
 from
 around
 the
 world.
 Many
 of
 them
 didn’t
 know
 much
 about
 our
 country
 and
 so
 were
 more
 puzzled
 when
 trying
 to
 pronounce
 the
 name
 of
 our
 city.
 However,
 this
 did
 not
 prevent
us
from
 informing
 them
 and
 creating
 interest
 for
the
 idea
 of
Floating
 Gardens
in
2050.

Back We
 returned
 to
 Szczecin
 with
 the
 conviction
 that
 we
 had
 in
 the
 past
 two
 weeks
 combined
 our
 passion
 which
is
music
to
the
dissemination
of
 the
idea
 of
the
place
 where
every
day
 we
 live.
 Moreover,
 it
 appears
 that
 the
 chilly
 Scandinavia
 is
 the
 ideal
 partner
 for
cooperation,
 and
 each
 of
 us
 have
 so
 much
 to
offer
our
 neighbors.
 Lets
 do
it!

Summary Within
10
days
we
traversed
over
3000
km,visited
three
different
countries,
and
 played
 4
concerts.
We
now
have
 the
 knowledge
 which
 will
 help
 in
 the
 future
 to
 display
 and
 promote
 the
 image
 of
 our
 city
 and
 its
 inhabitants.
 Another
 expedition
 is
 approaching
 in
 the
 direction
 of
 warmer
 Europe.
 Our
next
 goal
 is
 Sunny
Italy!
