Band of Brothers Empire Solar System Consortium Proposal

Facts: • • • •

1) BoB has respect (fear/envy in others) 2) BoB has more systems than it can use 3) BoB can always use more ISK 4) BoB can always use more members

Problems: • 1) To become a respected EMPIRE, BoB needs sovereignty although that currently is not fully implemented in Eve. • 2) BoB needs to remain in the forefront and be “OUT THERE” in more than the forums • 3) BoB needs competition (in more than the tourneys)

Proposed Solution: Create a Realty Service to expand BoB into an Empire people want to join. To do this, create an Alliance specifically to hold renters and handle this advertisement process. I am volunteering to try this for BoB at a very low fee OR you can do this yourself OR find a member of BoB who will do this.

PROs: • 1) Would allow BoB to have 2 Alliances for Tourney consideration • 2) Renter corporations would not belong to other Alliances • 3) ISK in the form of Rent • 4) Trial Ground for finding new BoB members perhaps where they do not have access to BoB resources • 5) Easy to Enforce by removal of Corporations from space if rent is not paid. Alliance facilitates this process. Easy to war dec etc as it is a separate entity.

1) If you allow me to do this FOR YOU then you can easily find and punish ME. 2) You can also use it as publicity of BoB helping the universe. 3) You can quickly implement this as I would do the work and just pass the isk earned to you. If the program does not work, you can break off the relationship without affecting the current BoB Alliance. 4) You can blame me if things go wrong. 5) For the purposes of control, you could put one person in as a Personnel Officer to allow you to quickly add and remove staff for participation in the Tourneys (this allows you to for instance pick the 5 captains and their alternates for the tourney and place them in the corporation/alliance for the Tourney duration which allows more BoB members to participate overall) 6) You have nothing to lose as the systems to rent would be those not developed and in hard to reach places if desired.

BoB - The Current Situation

Recent Event •

QUERIOUS. The Band of Brothers Alliance added a new region to its assets last week, storming Querious in full force and eventually capturing the region despite heavy resistance from a large coalition of alliances. They are now claiming the war for Querious as over, and the region as BoB sovereign territory. The lead up to these events stems back many months. For several of the coalition alliances, the aim originally was to remove Firmus Ixion, who had long inhabited the region. We have not gotten along well with FIX for a long while, explained Gloria Khan of the Stain Alliance, speaking of longstanding disputes over access routes to Empire space. They were the original target, that simple, stated XirtamVotf, leader of the Imperium Alliance and the makeshift coalition. BoB came, then the coalition as it were, decided to fight and test their mettle.

The Next Slides • These show that BoB has way more space than they can use and this is ISK not being made. One could make the argument that BoB does not need more ISK, but really – why not get more anyhow?

• How much is access to a system worth to a Renter? Remember – this is ISK not made by BoB every day.

The Plan • Steps to implement Plan: • • • • • • •

1) Assist me in forming the Alliance (frankly I don’t have the ISK yet) 2) Identify a star system or constellation that can be used for this process. 3) I will do up the advertisement and get a renter 4) Set standings between BoB and the Consortium Alliance (no name selected just yet) 5) Set an approved pathway to access the system (easement for travel only) 6) Collect Rent at the Alliance Level, and send 95% on to BoB Alliance. (fee subject to negotiation but I don’t think I am being greedy here) 7) See if this works over a period of 6 months.

Bottom Line: • If you don’t like this plan or wish to implement it on your own, that is OKAY. • For the ISK, the notoriety, and the sheer heck of it, WHY NOT? • I say - you have nothing to lose beyond the Alliance price and the time it takes to set ESCOR / The Alliance to blue. • In fact, why not have a BoB CONTEST - name the (renter) consortium alliance and win a prize. Of course the leadership of BoB would have to approve the name so that it does not cast an ill light upon the BoB Empire.
