Brief Description of the Project Cost estimation is an important aspect of construction. Project managers always have to ensure that the construction cost fits the budget. According to Riddell (2018), here are categories that cost come from: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8.

Labor Materials Equipment Services Software Hardware Facilities Contingency costs From these categories, project managers, estimate the cost of the construction

project. One of the ways to estimate project costs is using parametric estimating. Parametric estimating involves computing for the amount of work to be done, and the cost of each unit of work, then multiplying the number of work units to the cost of each unit of work. This technique is most effective for infrastructures with repetitive tasks (Riddell, 2018). II.
