Labor Materials Equipment Services Software Hardware Facilities Contingency costs From these categories, project managers, estimate the cost of the construction
project. One of the ways to estimate project costs is using parametric estimating. Parametric estimating involves computing for the amount of work to be done, and the cost of each unit of work, then multiplying the number of work units to the cost of each unit of work. This technique is most effective for infrastructures with repetitive tasks (Riddell, 2018). II.
