The present perfect simple expresses an action an indefinitive time in the past (≠simple past: definite or specific time)
Use of Present Perfect action that has not finished yet School has not started yet. action that has finisihed life experience (ever/never/before) recent event (already/yet/just/recently) She has already cooked dinner. action that started in the past and continue until now for/since finished action that has an influence on the present I have lost my key. action that has taken place once, never or several times before the moment of speaking I have met Bill twice
Form of Present Perfect: Have/Has + participle past For regular verbs, just add “ed”. For irregular verbs, use list of irregular verbs.
