The Prince shares that he is from the distant planet. A small planet with a one flower and three volcanoes. He also shares that he travelled seven planets meeting different unique individuals. Each planet is occupy by one individual. The first planet is occupied by the king who reigns everything and should be obey by everyone. The second planet is occupied by the vain man. He told the Prince that he should admire him. Like the king he thought that the prince is his subject. The third planet is occupied by the drunkard who is ashamed of being drunk. The fourth planet is occupied by the businessman that owns the stars. The fifth planet is occupied by the lamplighter. He is the responsible in giving light in the morning and lit the light in night time. The sixth planet is occupied by the geographer. He is the last man the little prince meets before he go to earth. When the little prince arrived in Earth, he saw many kings, many vain man, many drunkard, many business man many lamplighter and many geographer. When he takes a walk he saw a snake and that snake told the prince that he is in the Africa. Then he saw a flower with three petals. This flower has once seen a caravan pass by, so she tells him that there are six or seven men in existence. The third thing that he saw is the fox. The fox told him many lessons in life and he also told him many riddles. The fox wants to be tamed by the prince but the fox told the prince that “once you tamed me, I will be the only fox in your life”. This story teaches us about love, friendship and life. As we grow up we will encounter a lot of problems and we should learn to handle it properly. We should be responsible in handling everything. In every person in each planet reflects each individuals here in our world. For me, the king in the story is like the other country in the past and the other colonies who attempted to get our treasures. Other Filipinos are following and obeying the Spaniards and the Americans. The Filipinos are like maid who always follows the one that is powerful. The fox is like our parents who teaches us good deeds. Our parents always giving us advice in our problems in order for us to solve it easily. They teaches to be a responsible person in this world because they want us to be a independent person. Next is the flower is like our love ones. She teaches us how to love and sacrifice. Our love ones loves us with all their heart and they want to spend the time with us even in the harder or happy times. Lastly, For me, The lamplighter is like God because he sacrifice everything to give us light. God also sacrifice his own life in order for us to live and escape from our original sin. He gives us everything that will make us happy. He also gives the things we need in our daily lives like air, light, water and etc. The fox teaches us that we should be responsible in what we choose to be with. We should be careful in trusting them because we don’t know if they are good or bad. Lastly, he taught us to look on the inside beauty and not on the outside.

Part III “The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched, they are felt with the heart.” Many people in this world thinks that money or other expensive things are the most beautiful things in the world. They only want money, fame and other things that will make them richer. They don’t care if they are hurting other people because they only care about their wealth. My mom told me that beauty is something which is felt from the heart. When she gives birth to a child which is me and hears me cry for the first time, she goes through certain emotions which can’t be describe in words. When my mom told me this, I hugged her and then cry. For me the most beautiful things that I can treasured and cherish is all the happy moments that I spent with all my love ones.
