When he was a child, on a summer day, his mother had sent him to carry food to the workers on the field. On his way, he stole the hoopoe that was considered to be the clock of the village.

The theft of the hoopoe He hide the hoopoe in the garret. But his aunt Marioara found out what he had done and became very angry. So she told his mother to punish him. Hoping he would escape, he went with the hoopoe to the market and tried to sell it.
The theft of the hoopoe But when he arrived to the market an old man took the bird from his arms and released it without the boy’s permission. He was really annoyed, but, eventually, he was not punished anymore…
Bathing in Ozana River
In one summer, Nică goes to make a bathe in Ozana River, refusing to help his mother with the chores. His mother went after him and surreptitiously took his clothes. And so, he had to go back home naked.
Steeling cherries
In a summer, Nică goes to steel cherries from his aunt Mărioara. But she caught him and followed him, wishing to beat him or cane him. But while trying to run away, he laid low the hemp in his aunt’s garden.
